Look across space from one edge of the visible universe to the other, and you'll see that the microwave background radiation filling the cosmos is at the same temperature everywhere. That may not seem surprising until you consider that the two edges are nearly 28 billion light years apart and our universe is only 14 billion years old.

Nothing can travel faster than the speed of light, so there is no way heat radiation could have travelled between the two horizons to even out the hot and cold spots created in the big bang and leave the thermal equilibrium we see now.

This "horizon problem" is a big headache for cosmologists, so big that they have come up with some pretty wild solutions. "Inflation", for example.

You can solve the horizon problem by having the universe expand ultra-fast for a time, just after the big bang, blowing up by a factor of 1050 in 10-33 seconds. But is that just wishful thinking? "Inflation would be an explanation if it occurred," says University of Cambridge astronomer Martin Rees. The trouble is that no one knows what could have made that happen, but see Inside inflation: after the big bang.

So, in effect, inflation solves one mystery only to invoke another. A variation in the speed of light could also solve the horizon problem - but this too is impotent in the face of the question "why?" In scientific terms, the uniform temperature of the background radiation remains an anomaly.

Dark energy
(NOTE: just look at where these "Scientists" derive their authority and the way they try to change and alter their "explinations" of how things are. I have noted their prideful face saving comments in bold type")

IT IS one of the most famous, and most embarrassing, problems in physics. In 1998, astronomers discovered that the universe is expanding at ever faster speeds. It's an effect still searching for a cause - until then, everyone thought the universe's expansion was slowing down after the big bang. "Theorists are still floundering around, looking for a SENSIBLE explanation," says cosmologist Katherine Freese of the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. "We're all hoping that upcoming observations of supernovae, of clusters of galaxies and so on will give us more clues."

One suggestion is that some property of empty space is responsible - cosmologists call it dark energy. But all attempts to pin it down have fallen woefully short. It's also possible that Einstein's theory of general relativity may need to be tweaked when applied to the very largest scales of the universe. "The field is still wide open," Freese says.

A few samples that defy evolution

The Coso Artifact
While coal hunting in the mountains of California near Olancha in 1961, Wallace Lame, Virgina Maxy and Mike Mikesell found a rock, among many others, that they thought was a geode. Upon cutting it open, however, Mikesell found an object inside that seemed to be made of white porcelain.

In the center was a shaft of shiny metal. Experts estimated that, if this was a geode, it would have taken about 500,000 years for this fossil-encrusted nodule to form Yet the object inside was obviously of sophisticated human manufacture. Further investigation revealed that the porcelain was surround by a hexagonal casing, and an X-ray revealed a tiny spring at one end, like a spark plug.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

In 1938, Frank and Emma Hahn were climbing in the London Texas area and discovered a rock outcropping with a handle sticking out of it. They removed the nodule containing the handle. It was not until 1946 OR 1948 when the rock was broken open revealing the hammer head. The artifact is located at the "Creation Evidence Museum"

The hammer was removed from the surrounding landscape and was photographed thereby proving the geological strata the hammer originally layed in. The Carbon-14 dating (accurate to + or - 50 to 100,000 years) of the wood indicated a median year of 350 years old!!

The area which the rock was removed as well as the nodule is in is from is from the Cretaceaus Period (65-135 million years ago) A Photo K16 test was performed on the iron of the hammer and found to be very pure with no bubbles which, according to the "Creation Evidence Museum" cannot be consistently produced even with todays technology.

The handle appears to have been cut off rather than broken and the darkened areas of the handle is where it has partially turned to coal. In the nodule are cretaceous period fossils of shells.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
In South Africa over 200 of these balls have been found, and extracted out of deep rock at the Wonderstone Silver Mine!! They average 1-4 inches in diameter and are composed of a nickel-steel alloy that does not occur naturally.

Some have a thin shell about a quarter inch thick, when broken open are filled with a strange spongy material that disintegrates into dust upon contact with air.

The manufactured metallic spheroids have been mined out of a layer of pyrophyllite rock and by the various radio-isotope dating techniques are shown as being 2.8 - 3 billion years old,"(do ya think that the dating "tekneek" with an accuracy around + or - 50 to 100 thousand years, might not be very accurate?)
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Surfing around the internet also turned up news of this fossil that corresponds perfectly to a human handprint and shows very good detail. Even the print of the thumb nail can be seen. It is found in the Glen Rose limestone which is designated by evolutionists as "Middle Cretaceous", supposedly 110 million years old and contemporary with the Dinosaurs.

All of this is just a very small sample of some things found that people don't hear about on the "News" because there is not a "scientific authority" to report it.

Stuff like this gets swept under the "rug" so that the evolution theories and theorists can continue in claiming that the world and universe evolved over a course of billions and billions of years. there are many other fossils similar to this that they also try to explain away.

Most of the time they try to just discredit the finds by claiming "aliens" and such are responsible, to make the finds seem unreliable.

All of these finds make sense in a "Young Earth" Biblical Creation account.
Mankind's refusal to submit to a Lord and Saviour and see them selves as completely helpless sinners in dire need of a Saviour always amazes me.
All of the answers are located in the Living Word of God. People need to quit trying to find authority in "science" and realize that the Word of God is Completely true.

I always here on the "news" things like, "Scientists have now proven.....bla...bla...bla...."fill in the blank. How ridiculous, all of these "scientific authorities" that most people never seem to even hesitate to believe, are nothing more than sinners most likely refusing to submit to the Word of God.
"Scientist" seems to have become some kind of term that people relate with all human authority and brilliance. We are so much "smarter" now, than our ancient ancestors that we "evolved" from.

Oh, reeeeeeeeeeeeeally!!!!!
I don't think so.
see above.

-------------------------------

Some things that don't make sense?
